SDA will be closed Aug 30 through September 6 [which is Labour Day]. All classes will be canceled except for the Acro Flips and Tricks workshop on Thursday Sept 2 which will still be running 8-10pm.

Regular weekly classes resume on Tuesday September 7.

Ofilio's Contemporary Hip Hop class will be canceled on Tuesday Aug 24. Diana will be subbing the House class 7-8pm.

Popping Hip Hop with Donnie is moving to Wednesdays 6-7pm starting next week Aug 25.

Intermediate Breaking w/ Nastic will be canceled because of a special Power Workshop w/ Sancho [Germany]. This class is not for beginners, students should already be working on powermoves and need help perfecting them. Power Workshop will be 8-10pm and cost $20. There is limited space so arrive early or call us with a credit card to reserve a spot. [Please call during our working hours 5-9pm.]

House w/ Diana on Thursday will be canceled again this week. Back in full force in September!

Thursday's Dancehall w/ Jess is on hold til further notice. Check back for updates.

Stepping is back at SDA! Starting Tuesday September 7, Troy will be teaching Stomp every Tuesday 6-7pm. Troy has been part of the Stomp cast for several years and has toured with the show all over North America.

Kids Beginner Breaking w/ Rowdy
Kids learn basic breaking skills including six step, baby freeze, 12-step, and toprocks. Session concludes w/ an informal recital on the last day.

Kids Popping
Kids learn popping techniques and moves so that they can freestyle better. Different levels of experience are welcome. Session concludes with an informal recital on the last day.

Kids Intermediate Breaking
Kids practice freestyling and battling, and build on their skills with chair freezes, shoulder freezes, more footwork and toprock steps. Session concludes with an informal recital on the last day.

Kids Rapping w/ MC Abdominal
Kids will learn rhyming and writing techniques to form basic raps. The students will record a rap song which will be posted on SDA's website. The class will also have the chance to perform at SDA's kids breakdance battle "Battle School"
in November.

Kids DJing w/ More or Les
A beginner class where kids will learn about DJing equipment, how it works and how to set it up. Students will learn the concepts of beat matching and mixing as well as basic scratching. This will be an 8 week session. Registration will
commence in September.
