Blazin'
A member of shebang!, Toronto's all female break crew, Blazin' has been actively involved in the break scene for the past eight years. Breaking has led her to all realms: from travelling around the world to teach, battle, and perform in shows and in music videos!
Some of Blazin's exciting antics include bgirling for Grammy award winner Nelly Furtado in her music video "...on the Radio", as well as performing in concert with Furtado and Swollen Members at the 2002 Juno Awards. Blazin' also hiphop danced in a Coke commercial with Christina Aguilera, and even square danced in a Bud Light commercial in 2001! To add icing on to the cake, along with shebang!, Blazin' was breaking for the Beastie Boys in 2004 at the Air Canada Center in Toronto and in her ol' hometown in Ottawa at the Corel Centre.
On the battling front, Blazin' was winner at her very first break battle in 2000 at Back 2 Da Underground held by Dyzee from Supernaturalz. She also was winner in the "toprock" category in Supernaturalz's "Time 2 Shine" Battle. As well, in 2003, Blazin' placed first in shebang!'s "Break and Enter" battle in the "Bonnie & Clyde" competition with "Clyde" Piecez from Funk Fanatics.
